The Company SAP Polska informed that according to the latest report drawn up by market research company IDC, devoted to Polish market of business software, in 2010 the SAP Company reached 39.9% share in the market of integrated enterprise application software and remains a definite leader in this market. According to the IDC report ”Poland Enterprise Application Software Market 2011-2015 Forecasts and 2010 Vendor Shares”, the value of the Polish enterprise application software market increased in 2010 by 14.7% amounting to USD 226,260,000.00. Yet another year SAP is a definite leader in the ranking of business application suppliers, reaching the market share which exceeds the total of shares of five subsequent suppliers. SAP is also the leading supplier of all subcategories of business software analyzed by IDC, i.e. applications such as ERM (Enterprise Resource Management), SCM (Supply Chain Management), OMA (Operations Management Applications), CRM (Customer Relations Management), as well as Business Analytics applications. “The expansion of business application market has been assisted by the growth of economic indicators, thanks to which the companies have unfrozen their budgets and invested in IT support for management processes”, says Tomasz Słoniewski, Research Manager Software, IDC Poland. ”Many public institutions have decided to implement advanced application solutions, which had an extra positive impact on the market bounce after the crisis year of 2009.” “In 2010, which was a successful year for SAP, we observed an evolution in the decision making process concerning the implementation of enterprise application software.
