In January 2008, HICRON signed an agreement with MAN Commercial Vehicles for the support of the company in the global rollout of the ESA system.

The implemented ESA (Europäische Strukturen in Aussenorganisationen) system ensures integration of the key IT applications used in the company e.g. SAP ERP, SAP CRM and SAP XI, as well as numerous smaller solutions supporting vehicles distribution, spare parts management and maintenance services in the company. The ESA system also includes sophisticated processes offered by the SAP Automotive standard.

The role of HICRON consultants focused on the development of the system in the area of sales and after sales service supported by SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS) and SAP WTY (a SAP solution for the management of warranty claims). Since the template will be rolled out in 15 countries, the consultants will be responsible for preparing the implementation template taking into account the local requirements.
