Consolidation of HICRON and HICRON Consulting

After three months of consolidation process, at the end of December 2009, there was a formal merger between HICRON and HICRON Consulting.

The aim of consolidation was to remodel the process of strategic decision making, with the focus on achieving common business goals. Closer relations between HICRON and Consulting HICRON result primarily in combination of teams and joint formulation of offers. Formally, the consolidation took place through the acquisition of HICRON Consulting shares by HICRON. At the same time the composition of the HICRON Board changed: Michał Guzek went to the HICRON Board, leaving HICRON Consulting Board. Remigiusz Efinowicz, member of the Board in HICRON, was appointed the proxy in HICRON Consulting. The initial capital of HICRON was increased to 90 000PLN.

Comprehensive offer
Both companies have cooperated with each other since they were based, using their own resources, software and technology (specialty of HICRON) as well as SAP and business consulting services (specialty of HICRON Consulting). After consolidation the two types of services are offered and provided by HICRON.

HICRON and HICRON Consulting offer complementary services. By consolidating two companies, we combine our powers and we are able to better meet the needs of our clients as to the development of their systems." - says Remigiusz Efinowicz, HICRON board member and HICRON Consulting company's proxy.

New organizational model
After the merger, employees of the two companies formed new departments responsible for individual areas of competence: consulting solutions, technology and service. At the head of each of the team there is a leader responsible for coordinating work in implementation projects.
"We value satisfaction of our customers, and this is why our goal has always been a strategic partnership and continuous cooperation with companies. By merging the two companies and creating dedicated teams we put emphasis on the development of consulting, technology and service, enhancing our competence in these areas. We also employ new professionals. "- says Michal Guzek, HICRON member of the Board.
As a result of the consolidation two new sections have been created: Quality Management and Research & Development, the position of Resource Manager has also been introduced. The task of the Quality Manager will be to ensure the high quality of ongoing technology projects, consultancy and maintenance services. Resource Manager will be responsible for resource management and project prioritization. The objective of the R&D Manager will be to develop existing and new HICRON solutions.

Synergy
Along with the consolidation, the system of effective knowledge management was introduced in HICRON. This involves introduction of e-learning system, platform for internal exchange of experience, it also requires improvement of the coaching system within HICRON.

Consolidation was carried out in a way so that we could include in the benefits much more than possibility to create comprehensive offer. The flow of know-how and information among employees, new tools, introduction of positions and departments such as Quality Manager, Resource Manager, R&D Manager, are aimed to maximize our efficiency, so that ultimately 1+1 gave much more than 2 "- explains Ireneusz Czapski, member of the Board in HICRON.
