       COOPERATION WITH IDS IN SCANDINAVIAN TOBACCO31/08/07 - Warsaw
In August 2007, HICRON Consulting signed an agreement with IDS Scheer Polska, to execute SAP implementation work for Scandinavian Tobacco S.A., acting as a subcontractor. HICRON Consulting will be responsible for the implementation of the SAP system in the logistics area during the project rollout from Denmark. The SAP system implemented by HICRON consultants in Scandinavian Tobacco will cover the following areas: Sales and Distribution, Purchasing and Materials Management and Quality Management. The project shall begin on 3 September, 2007 and the planned go-live date of the production system is July 2008. Scandinavian Tobacco SA is one of the largest tobacco companies in Poland. The best known brands manufactured by the company include Slim Camelia, Cristal, 40 and 20 Rockets, Nevada, Reven, Main, Męskie and Walet. In addition to the production and sales of cigarettes, Scandinavian Tobacco S.A. also distributes Larsen, Skandinavik, Stanwell, lsbo and Poniatowski tobacco manufactured by Orlik Tobacco Company A/S and the products of ST Cigar Group (cigarillos). The abovementioned companies belong to the Danish Scandinavian Tobacco Group. |
