HICRON consultants completed work on the MAN Commercial Vehicles Portal for electronic placement of orders for vehicles, integrating Portal solution with SAP system.

HICRON consultants’ participation in the project involved development of the technical concept of the Dealer Portal solution, implementing the solution in MAN companies on a global scale and providing post-implementation technical support. The work on the development of the new portal began in May 2008 and lasted a little more than 8 months.

SAP Dealer Portal is active in all European branches of MAN Commercial Vehicles. MAN dealers use it to order vehicles with technical parameters precisely defined by the clients. The portal supplies information about the available equipment options, but offers a free choice of the interior design features.
