HICRON advances in the partnership with SAP Polska

HICRON has signed a new partnership agreement with SAP Polska, advancing from a Service Partner to a Value Added Reseller (VAR) under the SAP Partner Edge program.

A Value Added Reseller is the premiere form of partnership with SAP Polska, offered to companies demonstrating the widest range of experience and competencies, as they implement the business goals set out by SAP.

“By offering HICRON partnership under the SAP PartnerEdge program, we are expressing our recognition for the pace with which the company has become one of the leading companies implementing SAP ERP in Poland, promising further successes in this field for the company,” emphasizes Michał Jeżewski, Central&Eastern Europe Channel Director in SAP. He adds, “A strong team made up of nearly 70 qualified consultants, a clear development strategy, competences in the public utility, insurance, FMCG, automotive or real estate sectors are only a few of HICRON’s assets.”

“Our goal has always been to specialize in those SAP areas in which we hold unique competences in Europe. Our activities have led to the participation in five SAP RE-FX implementation projects, a project for the implementation of a billing solution, two implementations of SAP ERP from scratch, the acquisition of two new foreign customers with whom we predict long-term cooperation and new global contracts with our current customers from the automotive industry, namely, AMAG, Volvo and MAN,” explains Michał Guzek, Member of the HICRON Management Board.

“Having been invited to the Partner Edge program as a VAR partner, we do not intend to rest on our laurels. We plan to strengthen our position as experts in niche areas of SAP acquiring new customers for complex SAP ERP and Business Intelligence projects and implementing dedicated SAP solutions, such as RE-FX, Automotive and Retail. Our intention is to deliver ready-made, mature sector products to the market. Considering our experience, competences and the trust of our customers, I am certain we will succeed in introducing this plan,” says Michał Guzek.

Since 2006, HICRON has been cooperating closely with SAP AG in Walldorf, managing joint global projects and participating in the development of SAP products for such sectors as banking and insurance. HICRON signed its first partnership agreement with SAP in June 2009, when it was awarded the status of a service partner with the right to selling licenses. The next step in the companies’ cooperation was the conclusion of a partnership agreement under which HICRON was entitled to sell and implement SAP Business Objects solutions. Within one year, HICRON has attracted more than ten new customers, providing them with SAP ERP implementations, specialized SAP products and in-house IT solutions, as well as servicing.
