       HICRON IMPLEMENTS CRM IN MAN NF GROUP01/07/10 - München
HICRON company signed the contract to provide and implement a SAP CRM system in the MAN Commercial Vehicles Group (MAN NF). The system is to be configured with special attention to particular requirements of the MAN NF group, and will serve as a master data management system (Master Data Management). As a result, the system also known as ZGP (Zentraler Geschaftspartner – Central Business Partner) will be created. The project to develop and implement a solution pattern, initiated in May 2010 in Munich will be completed in March 2011. Next in line are the solution roll-outs for MAN branches in 17 European countries, Mexico, Turkey and in the Republic of South Africa. The implementation of the ZGP system will ultimately cover all MAN business units involved in sales and service, including MAN Finance International GmbH, with fleet financing being its main activity. The first company to use the system will be MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland GmbH. The newly implemented application, based on the SAP platform, will function as a leading CRM system in the MAN Group. Thus, it will integrate both CRM systems used in the MAN Group and the data of all MAN’s business partners (clients and suppliers) on one platform available to the system’s users within the Group’s companies. After the implementation of the ZGP system, the data of MAN’s clients will be entered and updated only from a central application level. The platform will also be used for credit checks and the quality control of entered data. The CRM systems used previously will be utilized for implementing marketing and sales related tasks. The HICRON company has cooperated with the MAN NF group since October 2006, implementing consulting and technological works, especially global development projects. Among the systems developed by HICRON experts, one may mention SAP VMS (Vehicle Management System), VIS (Vehicle Information System), SAP WTY (Warranty), as well as typical logistic modules, such as SD, MM, CS, or CRM. HICRON consultants were also responsible for integrating interface solutions aimed at supporting sales or after sales servicing of vehicles and integration of several MAN systems within the ESA project (Europaische Strukturen in Aussenorganisationen). |
