       HICRON IMPLEMENTS SAP WTY IN MAN13/03/08 - Munich
In March 2008, HICRON, acting in partnership with SAP AG, implemented the SAP WTY module supporting warranty service in MAN Commercial Vehicles companies. HICRON’s scope of responsibility included implementation of the business layer and interfaces between MAN CE systems. The consultants also took part in the building of user interfaces coordinated by SAP AG. The solution offered to man was developed on the basis of the standard SAP WTY version, with additional extensions. HICRON consultants developed, specifically for this Client, a unique user interface accessible from the website, through which warranty claims can be filed. The solution is used globally by all branches of MAN Commercial Vehicles. The key benefit of using the solution is faster and more flexible management of warranty claims, mainly thanks to an automated process of claim evaluation. Information is forwarded directly to the head office where a decision to accept or reject the complaint is made. |
