At the end of December 2010, HICRON company, specialising in SAP ERP implementations, development and outsourcing, signed an agreement with Stelmet S.A. for the delivery of SAP maintenance services under SAP Enterprise Support.

As providers of SAP maintenance services in Stelmet, the HICRON consultants are responsible for the delivery and installation of SAP ERP upgrades, and for resolving any problems in system operation attributable to the defective source code supplied by SAP. The scope of SAP services provided to Stelmet is defined in the SAP Enterprise Support conditions.

SAP maintenance services are supported by the Solution Manager Enterprise Edition system. Stelmet’s system is linked to the Solution Manager at HICRON and becomes a communication platform. Through this platform the Stelmet staff can place service requests which are then executed by HICRON. The terms and conditions and the level of services provided are defined by the provisions of the Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Stelmet is one of the five companies that in December 2010 joined the group of service customers of HICRON.

Stelmet S.A. is the biggest in Poland and one of the biggest in Europe manufacturers of wooden landscape structures. The company produces a wide variety of wooden structures designed for fencing, furnishing and decorating gardens, allotments, terraces, balconies, parks, markets and other types of recreational areas. The main production sites are located in Jeleniowo, Zielona Góra, Lubięcin and Kowary. The majority of products are delivered to customers abroad, strengthening the position of Stelmet on the markets of the European Union (e.g. in France, Germany, the Netherlands and Great Britain) as well as in Norway and Turkey.
