HICRON has commenced cooperation on SAP system maintenance and administration with KPI BS (Kulczyk Pon Investment Business Services) from the automotive sector. KPI BS provides IT services to such companies as: KPI Polska, Kulczyk Tradex, KPI Sport Cars and KPI Retail. 

KPI is the official importer of Volkswagen, AUDI and Porsche cars into the territory of Poland. Additionally, the company is responsible for the logistic chain of spare parts for SKODA Poland.

The companies have entered into two agreements covering SAP services, namely the broadly understood system administration and ongoing user support. Pursuant to the first agreement, HICRON shall provide KPI BS with SAP infrastructure management services, which include management of the Windows operating system where the SAP system is installed, administration of SAP ECC, SAP BI, SAP Business Connector and SAP Content Server, management and monitoring of the relation database, and reporting. Within the framework of the application service, HICRON consultants will support SAP users in KPI in their everyday operation of the SAP system in all the required areas, including finance and control (FI, CO), sales and distribution (SD), material management (MM) and data warehousing (BW). In addition to this, HICRON consultants will assist in the operation and development of all non-standard, customised SAP solutions, offering the services of ABAP programmers.

Experience and competence were not the only criteria required by KPI from their potential SAP partner. Additional criteria assessed in the bidding procedure included availability of a dedicated team of service consultants, adequate quality of work performed confirmed by warranties as well as declared response times to service tickets.

“Cooperation with HICRON is a sensible decision,” says Rafał Brączkowski, Director of the IT Department at KPI BS. “What drew our attention to HICRON’s offer was its extensive experience in the automotive industry and relevant references. HICRON has the required know-how, which is specific to our business sector and has been built through several years of cooperation with several car dealers and importers, such as AMAG in Switzerland. The references presented by HICRON have provided additional confirmation of their competences,” he maintains.

HICRON consultants specialise, in particular, in the implementation of IT projects for the automotive industry, which is proven by its customer base containing more than 10 companies representing this sector, including Grupa MAN, Volvo CE, AMAG and Stelweld. Recently, the company has launched cooperation with four new automotive producers and importers.
