       NEW PRODUCT - HICRON WM MOBILE10/02/09 - Wroclaw
HIcron prepared an innovative warehouse management solution enabling remote, real-time recording of all events directly at the point of work. The application supports the key warehousing operations related to receipt of deliveries and goods putaway, issue and movements within a single warehouse and between warehouses. In the majority of companies, warehousing operations are carried out away from computer stations and subsequent data entry is always time-consuming. A solution facilitating and expediting work is based on hand-held terminals integrated with the SAP system, which enable remote execution of operations in the system. An example of such a solution is WM HICRON Mobile. The philosophy and the distinguishing characteristic of WM HICRON Mobile solution consists in the development of a set of standard function calls in the SAO system with a user-friendly interface adapted to the conditions of the point of work without restricting the system to a specified area (e.g. only SAP-WM). Thanks to inherent capacity for extension, unique Client’s needs can be easily met. The mobile solution can thus become an indispensible complement to the management system (SAP - commands) and execution system (HICRON Mobile – execution) enabling easier and quicker operations, surpassing the ‘stationary’ limitations. WM HICRON Mobile communicates with the SAP system via a wireless network. The standard operations supported by the handheld device include overview of open orders, recording receipt of external deliveries with reference to open orders, creation and confirmation of transfer orders in the warehouse, creating handing units, physical inventory of stock in storage locations, recording goods issues to material reservations, posting goods issues and reporting. At the Client’s request, HICRON consultants extend the functionality by adding all kinds of processes associated with material flow. |
