Thanks to HICRON DMS Cockpit you can browse not only document structures but also all non-document structures collected in the SAP ERP system’s database. Non-document structures can be related to:
• Project structures: projects carried out by the company – the solution shows the project structure, including work stages, resources required, etc.
• Functional locations– the solution enables the management of documents related to the company’s equipment. It facilitates work, providing quick access to plant documentation, which is important, for example, in the case of regular inspections.
• Real estate structures – the solution shows the address, a detailed description and specification of the required property.
• Bills of material.

Owing to the considerable flexibility of the solution, HICRON DMS Cockpit gives the user freedom in defining the specificity, complexity and number of structures. The only requirement is to define all these elements in the SAP system. The functionalities for document and structure element management include:
• Advanced search function for documents and structure elements.
• Transfer and copy of documents/ structure elements using the drag&drop function.
• Creating links to documents and folders/ structure elements.

HICRON DMS Cockpit: Cross-module, cross-functional…
HICRON DMS Cockpit is a patch for the SAP DMS system. Instead of having its own database, it makes use of the data collected in the SAP system. In line with the full integration concept, the cockpit allows the user to find any document or any information contained in the SAP system (of course, in accordance with the user’s authority level) that is to be added to the structure created. Additionally, the user-friendly interface (similar to Windows) considerably facilitates work with the solution.
