Kompania Piwowarska
complex SAP environment to be integrated within a solution
Kompania Piwowarska based its success on unique know-how and an operation style over the years. All these elements require one of the most complex systems tailored to the company’s needs. The company’s IT system is filled with custom functionalities, extensions and SAP standard add-ons. Every new solution implementation requires modifications which will not interfere with the dozens of pre-existing extensions handling return processes, adjustments, sales, trade credits, trade control etc.
01 Case study
One of subsequent steps to achieve an even higher level of customer service was the implementation of the SFA (Sales Force Automation) solution, aimed at sales process automation.
Business goals of the project
- sales process automation
- SFA application customisation to fit individual system needs
- introduction of new functionalities without disturbing the preexisting ones
We have always known that the planned SAP development projects involve complex, sophisticated work, for instance securing compatibility of the new solutions with other non-standard SAP modifications. That’s why we believed the projects should be managed by a company with extensive experience in the development of dedicated SAP extensions. Hicron Consulting experts have convinced us many times that choosing this company as the IT solution supplier was like hitting the bull’s eye, and the company is a trusted and competent business partner, fully aware of our needs.

Business results
The project has brought automation of operations in the following areas:
- order processing
- customer contact management
- information exchange
- warehouse stock monitoring
- order tracking
- analyses and sales prognostics
We took a very serious approach to the replacement of the SFA application, similarly to all other IT projects implemented at Kompania Piwowarska. First of all, we wanted to have the best available solution on the market, which is why we decided to work with Anica Systems. But we also wanted to have a person in the project who was not only aware of our needs, but also had good knowledge of the environment of the applications, would be able to identify the best solutions from our point of view and had sufficient experience in managing equally complex projects. Therefore, we invited Michał Guzek from Hicron Consulting to join the project.
